====== Practical session controls ====== This guide walks through common lobby situations using the current player commands. See all commands for details and aliases. ===== You have just joined ===== Use .help for the short reference and .queue to see the current and upcoming maps. Download the selected beatmap, then ready up. A mid-match arrival waits for the next round; the bot gives approximate remaining-time guidance. ===== You are ready but the room is waiting ===== An active player can type .start to request the normal countdown. A lone player can also explicitly use it without first toggling READY, although automatic one-player starting still requires READY. Normal availability and referee checks remain in force. If someone is downloading, give them a moment. An eligible .wait request adds ten seconds before start, once per player per map; it can cancel the numeric countdown and retry the same map. A successful .start overrides optional waits for that map. See Wait and countdown problems. ===== The map is too difficult ===== Type .easier to vote for easier future selections. Other current players may need to agree before the threshold is met. Check .pool after a passing vote to see the resulting range. The current map and already visible queue are not replaced. Use .harder for the opposite adjustment. Use .skip or .s if the room wants to move past the current map. These are shared room decisions, not personal difficulty settings. See difficulty and voting rules. ===== You want one more attempt ===== After completion, .replay votes to make the immediately preceding completed map the next map. .redo, .repeat, and .again are aliases. A passing vote preserves the upcoming queue's order and does not edit a match already being played. ===== You want to help improve the pool ===== After actually playing a map, use .good or .g, .bad or .b, or .ok for neutral feedback. Feedback targets the last completed map within its feedback window. It does not skip the next map or directly change difficulty. See map feedback. ===== You want different kinds of maps ===== In Standard Ranked rooms, .farm and .stream choose the source for future picks. .variety 70 30 requests a 70% Farm / 30% Stream mix; .variety returns to the default 50/50 mix. In Mania, choose a structural preference such as .style jack or .style ln. Mania .variety returns to all eligible styles and does not accept Standard percentages. Existing queue entries stay in place. See Mania examples. ===== You want a PP estimate or private statistics ===== Try .pp 98.5 for a custom accuracy estimate or .pp HD HR 100 99 97 for supported mods and multiple accuracies. A request does not change lobby mods or award PP. .stats shows recorded AutoHost statistics. .hidden hides your statistics from public lookups and .show restores visibility. These visibility controls are separate from deleting historical records. See PP estimates and privacy. ===== The command seems to do nothing ===== Check whether the control requires an active player and whether the vote passed. Avoid rapid retries: public command bursts can be silently throttled. Staff can temporarily disable votes or ordinary public commands. See command troubleshooting.
