====== v6.7.34: Temporary player bans ====== ^ Status | Historical deployed release; behavior retained in the v7 owner pilot | ^ Behavior reference | Sealed v6.7.34 and cumulative v7 pilot · reviewed 2026-10-14 | Staff can give a project ban a duration, such as ''.ban username 30m'', ''.ban username 24h'' or ''.ban username 7d''. Omitting the duration remains a permanent ban. An optional reason follows ''|''. Durations use whole minutes, hours or days, from one minute to 365 days. The absolute expiry survives bot restarts and room recreation. Expired bans stop suppressing commands and requesting kicks, while their audit history is retained. ''.bans'' distinguishes permanent bans and remaining time. A project ban applies within that operator's bot rooms, not across osu! itself or automatically across independent community hosts. Room recreation does not pre-emptively send the stored bans to osu!: enforcement happens if a banned player enters or is observed present.
