difficulty_vote_step sets the AutoDiff shift per passed vote; the announced default is 0.20★.difficulty_vote_max_steps sets how many temporary shifts can stack; the announced default is 3.Admins can change these live:

Room JSON hot-reloads safe settings about every two seconds, without .softrestart after editing pool filters, timing, vote settings or AI settings. OAuth, database and Discord bot-token changes still require a normal bot restart.
