v7.2.10 — Shared statistics and private-room totals

Published: GitHub installer and runtime. Publication and installation are separate; check Live Lobbies for versions actually running.

Player statistics

Fixes .stats <player> on owner and community hosts. The worker's storage guard admitted the small lookup index but rejected the separate completed statistics database, leading to a false miss or a fetching reply that expired after 90 seconds. Completed databases are now admitted read-only, including after a background refresh. Staging files, unrelated paths, symlinks and writes remain blocked. Player commands do no hub HTTP requests.

Catch statistics downloads now recognize the additive v2 endpoints in both HTTPS processes, with the same bounded gzip pages and safe legacy fallback.

Private-room activity

Known private-room playtime, visits, completed-map participation and recorded PP gains now contribute to shared player totals and website statistics. Independent private cursors recover already-recorded private participation skipped by earlier releases after the sharing boundary. Public cursors and event identities stay intact. Unknown legacy history still needs review.

Private rooms remain absent from public room lists and Discord panels. Aggregated statistics do not publish room links, passwords, rosters or chat. Player .hidden preferences still apply. See statistics privacy and the stats command.

Greetings

Adds the maintainer-approved Saycey greeting to distributable defaults. Existing owner and community slots also received it through authenticated live fleet configuration, with saved and effective mappings checked. This greeting change needed no room restart.

Updating and validation

This is a controller update. Normal automatic installation waits for a host's safe empty-room boundary and preserves intentionally stopped slots, settings, titles, OAuth, Discord configuration, catalogs and history. An older host can remain on its current version until its next discovery and safe installation window.

155 related test methods passed, including actual worker guards, real v1/v2 HTTPS, large replicas, privacy, legacy compatibility, private statistics and website aggregation. A real protected stopped v7.2.9 upgrade on the donor preserved 63 configuration/credential/catalog/ownership files and full catalogs. Exact published v7.2.6/7/8/9 transition contracts, runtime/installer reproducibility and changed-source sensitive-data checks passed. The unchanged complete test suite and actual osu! gameplay were not repeated for this patch.
