Discord control and reports

Authorized Discord control messages are routed to a selected lobby and checked as MOD or ADMIN. They run on that room's bot thread and reply in the control channel. The control role is separate from osu! account membership and wiki permissions. Use roles and the live .help2 response to check access. The bot may ask you to retry most commands while referee recovery is in progress; it explicitly says when nothing executed.

Moderator reports are Discord-only: .overview defaults to 24h; .activity, .players, .ratings, .retention, and .mapstats default to 7d. Each accepts 24h, 7d, 30d, or all. .who shows recently observed active players and spectators for that room. .apiusage reports shared osu! API use, and .lazerstatus reports the shared coordinator. Keep reports in authorized channels; the public statistics page uses a separate privacy-filtered export.

A Discord ADMIN may use .say <message> to relay a message to the selected lobby, and .shutdown all or .shutdown <room> for intentional shutdown. .close affects only the selected lobby; .closewhenempty waits for players to leave. Admins also have room controls and access/feedback controls. Verify the selected room before any action that interrupts players.

Discord community access for players is via the site's top Discord link or .discord. That public invite is distinct from staff control authorization.
