v6.7.6: Jump, Rice and Noodle
Queued October 3, 2026: This cumulative release adds three chart-structure selections. Each room updates only after 30 seconds continuously empty and idle; players are not removed to install it. Check the room title or Live lobbies for its actual version. A queued release is not necessarily live in every room.
New selections
- .jump in Standard Ranked lobbies selects circle-heavy charts with sustained large jumps and few sliders. It uses actual note spacing and rhythm, independently of Farm score.
- .rice in native 4K and 7K Mania selects tap-focused charts with few holds and streams. Tap chords are allowed.
Mania also accepts .style rice, .style noodle and combinations such as .style rice jack. Rice and Noodle cannot be combined. See syntax and worked examples.
Strict first, bounded fallback
Strict fresh matches come first. After these run out, weaker qualifying evidence can supply fresh maps rather than repeat a chart played or skipped in the last ten rounds. Rice stays tap-focused and Noodle stays hold-focused even when combined with other patterns. Jump fallback still requires circle-heavy, spatially spaced chart evidence.
Difficulty, length, pass-count, ranked age and native key-mode boundaries remain in force. Current and queued maps are reserved, and unavailable maps stay excluded. If every eligible bounded choice was played recently, the oldest available choice can repeat. If no qualifying pool exists at selection time, the previous preference is kept. The existing quieter-chat policy remains; single Rice/Noodle and Jump pool labels can show a relaxed state. See fallback.
Changes require an active gameplay player or moderator and affect future picks only. Visible queue entries stay in place. Use .variety to restore the broader pool.
Evidence and initial availability
The Mania expansion and final 4K/7K validation completed September 30, 2026. These selections use the existing sealed catalogs: 19,336 native ranked/approved 4K maps and 4,348 7K maps. The larger collector working database remains separate; this release does not replace production databases or start a collector.
Jump initially covers already cached native Standard charts, not every map in the database. There are 88 strict / 822 including bounded fallback candidates in the production Ranked catalog before room filters. No Farm qualification is required, and missing chart evidence is not guessed from Farm scores.
Configured-baseline availability at this review:
| Selection | Strict | Including bounded fallback |
|---|---|---|
| Room 1 Jump | 8 | 53 |
| Room 2 Jump | 3 | 14 |
| 4K Rice | 80 | 288 |
| 4K Noodle | 42 | 143 |
| 7K Rice | 21 | 74 |
| 7K Noodle | 2 | 8 |
These are dated analysis counts, not guaranteed live pool sizes. Standard Room 1 baseline is 3.5–4.5 stars; Room 2 is 3.0–4.0 stars; both use at most 180 seconds, at least 10,000 passes and an eight-year ranked-age limit. Mania baselines use 3.0–4.0 stars, 45–150 seconds and at least 1,000 passes. Players can change the session range. In particular, 7K Noodle is small and may require a wider range for more variety.
Included fixes and verification
Includes verified Mania conversion safeguards, failed skip-vote tallies and .time and its short join hint. Remaining v6.7.5 targets are superseded by this cumulative release; existing workers keep running until their own safe update.
Passed 481 offline tests, four-room configuration checks, service-account release verification, guarded catalog selection checks and compatibility with the existing shared supervisor and room versions. No forced service restart, database migration or log-retention change is part of this update.
