A stream-like passage is a dense run of single-note starts. This example moves between columns at regular intervals.

The broad v1 analyzer measures closely spaced single-note events and run length. It does not require a fixed alternating-column pattern, so repeated-column passages can contribute too.

Use either form as an active player. The shared room’s future selections use the preference; already visible queue entries stay in place. Use .style or .map to inspect the current Mania chart and .pool for active filters.

The human description “stream” can be more specific than this heuristic. Rhythm, speed, length, and other structures still vary; this is not a stamina classification.

When strict fresh choices run out, style fallback can broaden the selection while keeping the active eligibility boundaries. Expanded spelling aliases remain upcoming until deployment is confirmed.

The structural idea also applies in 7K. The room keeps its key mode; selecting Stream does not convert a 4K room into 7K or change the player’s bindings.
